Leddick
Chairman
Ken Leddick co-founded Learn.net and has guided the company's emergence
as a leading provider of online training delivery systems
for large, blue-chip corporations such as Allstate Insurance
Company, BellSouth Corporation, and John Hancock Life
Insurance Company.
In 1980, Mr. Leddick co-founded VideoStar Connections
and served as Director, President and Chief Executive
Officer until 1990. Under his leadership, VideoStar became
the number one provider of satellite-based business television
services. Milestones during Mr. Leddick's tenure include
the first private worldwide telecast, the first use of
Ku-band satellite technology for corporate networks, and
the design and installation of the first private business
television network.
Prior to founding VideoStar, Mr. Leddick operated a satellite
telecommunications consulting firm, and earlier marketed
satellite communications equipment for Scientific-Atlanta,
Inc.
In addition to serving as a director for VideoStar and
Learn.net, Mr. Leddick has served as a member of the Board
of Directors of AvData Systems, Inc., a data communications
company, and Show Solutions, a high-end corporate events
staging company.
Mr. Leddick earned a BS and MS in Engineering from the
Georgia Institute of Technology.
