Backend of the Virtual Classroom is an enterprise-class learning management system (LMS) option with all of its tracking and reporting capabilities; and results data can be integrated with any LMS of HR system as needed |
• |
Electronic Instructor Guide (lesson plan) standardizes rich, presenter-controlled quality, and the ability to easily add additional, remote instructors or subject matter experts (SMEs) |
Instructors can “broadcast” live from a studio (or their web-enabled PC!) and interact in real time with their remote learners. The need for studio support resources (and costs) are reduced.

Live Classroom Training
Per the above graphic, through the use of small, wireless remote controls, or via a keyboard or mouse, distant learners reply to polling questions or quizzes as they are presented by the instructor on the television or PC screen. Students can electronically raise their hand and converse with the instructor via microphone built into the wireless remote, thus allowing all other students to hear their question and benefit from the instructor’s answer, just like in a live classroom.

Live, PC-based Training (separate from or simultaneous to satellite training)
When it not practicable to deliver a live training broadcast via satellite to certain remote locations (e.g. size of the remote office may not cost-justify a BTV installation, or the facility is in a location unable to receive a satellite signal), the Learn.net Virtual Classroom also can be extended to individuals’ PCs enabling them to watch the live (streaming) broadcast on their monitor, and responding to questions via their keyboard, or speaking with the instructor via their headset.

On-Demand Capability
Live Virtual Classroom training events can be recorded in the studio, and made available for on-demand viewing. All interactivity, such as polling, pop questions or quizzes from the original broadcast are preserved in the recording and will prompt the viewer to respond as if the broadcast were live. Learners’ responses are recorded for inclusion into reports.
On-demand courses can be viewed at a remote student’s PC by logging into a personalized portal, or in a classroom setting where the local moderator selects the on-demand course from a menu on the Virtual Classroom PC. Participants in that classroom will use their wireless remotes to interact with the recorded training session, while watching the video played back on their television.
