Overview

Authoring
Learn.net's ACS authoring system allows you to easily
create, modify and delete questions and assessments. You
author questions and assessments using a browser system
that allows features to be deployed widely. Thus your
company can easily set up questions and build assessments,
tests and surveys.
Multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, true/false, yes/no,
Likert and essay question types are currently supported.
Tests of classroom work can be used as "blended learning."
Pre-tests can be established, including to "opt-out."
Assembling a test for a course normally takes from ten
to thirty minutes. A test can be re-used with other courses
if applicable and desired.
Surveys can be assembled and launched and tracked just
as easily. |

Delivery
ACS allows your organization to deliver your assessments
and surveys across the Internet or an intranet. Browser-based
delivery enables organizations all over the world to use
the Internet or intranets to deliver assessments wherever
people are working or studying.
Participants answer the questions, and can, if desired,
receive instant feedback. ACS automatically scores, tabulates
and stores the questions, answers, and all scores within
a secure database. Emails can be sent to prompt an assessment
or survey to be completed and forwarded based on time
deadlines.
Post-classroom testing on-line is an easy way to assure
learning and retention, but without the hassles of manual
testing, scoring and posting grades.
MAPLE allows re-scheduling of courses if a test score
is too low. Surveys can be delivered, including tracking
completions, email notifications, etc. |

Reporting
When a participant finishes answering the questions and
submits the results MAPLE immediately processes and stores
the answers and results. You can store all answers in
the ACS answer database and then report directly from
the database using a standard browser. Some of the information
tracked includes the question presented, the answer given,
the time spent, objective score, overall score, time and
date taken, etc.
Learn.net offers two pre-defined item analysis reports,
multiple status reports and you can also define your own
reports. |
